I read a super funny blog the other day by one of the authors of the ELE Series. Some would say that it was critical of reviewers who attacked or focused on the editing issues in their books. I on the other hand found it rather hilarious. The fact is as Indie authors-and I’ve mentioned this in my reviews—it’s hard to hire editors. When I first started writing I had no intentions of publishing any of my work, but here I sit having published 8 books and 1 novella in my Half-Blood Princess series. 2 books in my Twins of Aurora Series and now Immortal Blood book 1 in the Immortal Heart series.
I’m not perfect, but I try when I write to create a fantastic story. Do I make mistakes? Absolutely, and trust me when I tell you none of my books are first drafts, I proofread my books multiple time, I have others proofread my books, but sometimes mistakes get through. We’re only human. However I hear and understand the frustrations that you all feel when there are grammatical issues in books. So the point of this whole thing is to let you all know that my Half-Blood Princess Series is going off to a truly talented editor and will be updated as each book is finished. Blood Claim was finished and re-uploaded to the kindle on the 21st of January. Over the next few months the rest of the series will be re-edited.
